We elevate at a faster rate and get a glimpse of what unity consciousness feels like. We get to embody the teachings, and walk through doors we might not be able to open up on our own.
We are thrilled to be able to include two in-person retreats with our 200-hour Teacher Training program. The cost for these are included in your training fee. If you have far to travel, you have the option to do the first 3-day immersion via livestream.
Situated in the pretty coastal town of Karlshamn in southern Sweden, our gorgeous studio creates the perfect base for these experiences. It’s your time to come alive. Let’s do it together!
This Is Love
Mantra, Music & Voice Activation
DECEMBER 27-29, 2024 at pure yoga sweden in karlshamn.Many consider the practice of mantra to be the highest form of yoga and a master key that eliminates the obstacles on the path to enlightenment. In Sanskrit, “man” means mind and “trang” means wave or projection. Mantra can be described as a creative projection of the mind through sound. These ancients sounds have the capacity to orient us toward our own inner truth.
During this three-day immersion (25 hours), we will explore the meaning and science behind Sanskrit mantras and how to use them (japa meditation, singing, kriyas). You will understand the intricacy of Sanskrit mantras, how they interact with our meridians and why Sanskrit is one of the world’s most sacred languages.
We will study a variety of chakra mantras, bija mantras and learn the ancient Gayatri mantra. We will dive into deity mantras and Shakti (Divine Feminine) mantras and learn how to use them to awaken archetypal qualities within yourself. We will also explore and practice how to use mantra as pranayama (breathwork).
You’ll get to practice on different instruments, including the harmonium, guitar and chakra (sound) bowls. You’ll learn how to create your own beautiful soundbaths and ceremonies using sound, music and meditation. As a part of this course, you’ll get Ulrica’s mini-book “This Is Love” with a foreword by Kelly Rutherford and photographs by Elizabeth Messina.
Through a variety of practices and workshops, we will help you find your own true voice. Your voice is the unique representation of who you are. Once you tap into your own true frequency, the way you hold space and show up in the world changes dramatically.
The immersion takes place at our yoga studio in Karlshamn, Sweden during the weekend just before New Years Eve. The exceptional acoustics and magical atmosphere makes our studio with its 8-meter high ceilings a potent place for this practice. If you have far to travel, you have the option to participate in this 25-hour module via livestream online from home.
The schedule spans from 8 am to 5 pm, mixing yoga philosophy, dharma talks, practice, creative workshops and other activities. An organic, vegetarian lunch is included. If you need accommodations in Karlshamn, please let us know (there is a sweet B&B mere steps from the studio).
Mantra is a way into your heart space, which is the realm of the infinite. This immersion is about you, finding your voice and claiming your rightful place in this beautiful dance (lila) that is your life.
The Radiance Retreat
80-hour Immersion & Graduation
JUNE 21-29, 2025 IN KARLSHAMN, SWEDENWith summer in full bloom and the day after midsummer, we begin the last chapter of our 200-hour Teacher Training journey with our Radiance Retreat. This immersion takes place at our studio. We will also venture outside in the beautiful nature surrounding our town, incorporating the majestic coastline, the sea and the pristine forests for our yoga practice, workshops and dharma talks.
This immersion is a culmination of all that you’ve learned during the previous nine months. Now, we’re doing the potent work of putting everything into practice and embodying the teachings.
We will also bring in additional yoga teacher training elements that are best suited for an in-person environment including:
Collaborative asana labs, yoga anatomy in action and practical workshops on how to cue and teach a class.
Workshops on how to use your voice and hold energy in a room.
Assisting and sequencing a class safely and effectively.
Different styles of pranayama (breathwork) and how to incorporate that in a class, ceremony or workshop.
Experiencing and practicing various styles of meditation, mantra, mudra and kriya.
Workshops on how to create a thriving yoga business and a sovereign life in a rapidly changing world.
Plus, we will create a variety of transformational experiences specifically for your own inner landscape. This includes moments of deep self-reflection and inquiry, ceremonies that bring out your inner radiance, as well as energy-shifting workshops.
Beautiful Details
The retreat begins midday on Saturday, June 21, the day after midsummer. After that, we will gather each day from morning until early evening. If you live within a short driving distance from Karlshamn, you can easily stay at home during the immersion. If you are traveling here, there is a variety of accommodations in different price ranges a quick walk from the studio. We are happy to help you with suggestions.
Every day, you will enjoy an organic, vegetarian lunch with ingredients from our friends at the local certified organic farm Möllekulla Länsmansgård. Organic coffee and tea is also included in the morning and early afternoon depending on our activities. Breakfast and dinner are not included.
At the end of the retreat, you will complete a one-hour exam that is a requirement for graduation. This exam is based on the materials you’ve learned during the nine months. We will be there to support you during the exam and help you if you have any questions.
The immersion will end with a beautiful mid-morning Graduation Ceremony and Celebration on Sunday, June 29 at our studio. You will receive your Yoga Alliance RYT200 certificate during the ceremony if you have completed all your modules, homework and the exam. If not, you will have access to all your online modules through the end of 2025.

Where Are We Located?
Pure Yoga Sweden is located in Karlshamn in southern Sweden. It’s surrounded by pristine nature and the ocean with a beautiful archipelago. Walk down the cobble stone streets of our picturesque town and stay in one of the sweet Bed & Breakfasts. Contact us for help with suggestions of accommodations in different price ranges.
If you are traveling internationally via air, the closest airport is Copenhagen (CPH). From the airport you catch a direct train to our town, which takes about 2 1/2 hours.
If you are traveling domestically via air, the closest airport is Kallinge (Ronneby), a mere 15-minute taxiride from Karlshamn.
The studio is located in town in a quiet tucked-away area on a leafy hill. It’s within a short walking distance of hotels, shops, restaurants, forests and the ocean.
